What is Osteopathy ?
Manual therapy
Osteopathy is a gentle manual approach aimed at restoring mobility and balance to the human body. Based on in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology, it helps relieve a wide range of disorders, whether muscular, joint, digestive or peripheral neurological.

When should you consult?
The pain at the heart of the problem
Osteopathy is aimed at anyone, young or old, athletic or not, who suffers from pain, discomfort, a feeling of blockage.
Situations where a consultation may be beneficial include neck pain, stiff neck, back pain, lumbago, lower back pain, rib pain, pelvic pain or jaw pain. In addition, if you suffer from peripheral nervous disorders such as herniated discs, cervico-brachial neuralgia, intercostal neuralgia, sciatica or cruralgia, osteopathy offers effective treatment for these pathologies. Finally, it can relieve pain related to pregnancy and childbirth as well as certain digestive disorders such as gastroesophageal reflux, bloating, constipation and diarrhea.

The benefits
A host of health benefits
Osteopathy offers a holistic approach to effectively relieve muscle pain and tension while improving the mobility and flexibility of your tissues and joints, which promotes a greater range of motion. By treating muscular imbalances, it prevents the recurrence of tension and pain in the long term. Additionally, by stimulating blood circulation, it reduces local inflammation and promotes muscle relaxation, thus speeding up your body's healing process.
What happens during a session ?
A three-step consultation
I start by asking you questions and listening to you carefully to best understand your symptoms. I then carry out an in-depth assessment allowing me to identify the dysfunctions causing your pain, while excluding any serious pathology.
Taking into account all the information collected, I offer you tailor-made manual treatment, adapted to your needs and your specificities. I use gentle and/or manipulative manual techniques (the famous “crack” which is not a mandatory step) to correct dysfunctions and relieve your pain.
Finally, I take the time to explain the stages of the treatment and the results and provide you with advice and exercises to maintain the benefits of the session and prevent the reappearance of the pain.
